3 Examine the back of your legs and feet. Don’t forget the soles of your feet and spaces in between toes.
4 Examine back of neck and scalp with a hand mirror. For a closer look at the scalp, part hair.
5 Examine back and buttocks with a hand mirror.

Brian A. Harris, M.D., is a Board Certified Dermatologist at Harris Dermatology whose primary focus is on skin cancer surgery using the Mohs surgery technique. IN 1993,
Dr. Harris began practicing general dermatology in Fort Myers; however, since 2001
Dr. Harris has dedicated his practice to diagnosing and treating skin cancer.
Considered to be the leading Mohs surgeon in the area, Dr. Harris has co-authored several dermatology textbooks and is frequently published in numerous medical journals.
Dr. Harris is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Florida Medical School, and trained at the Mayo Clinic before completing his dermatology residence at the University of Miami.
With extensive training in Mohs surgery, wound healing, and cosmetic procedures as a dermatology research fellow, Dr. Harris is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatologists and a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Harris is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the Lee County Medical Society.
Keith A. Harris, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist with Harris Dermatology. He has been in practice in Ft. Myers since 1994. Dr. Harris brings a high level of skin care and skin cancer treatment to southwest Florida residents.
Dr. Harris graduated from Florida State University and the University of Miami School of Medicine. He was an intern at the University of Miami and completed his residency at the University of Miami’s Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery.
He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatologists, the Lee County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. In addition, Dr. Harris is published in dermatology journals.
